How to Pay

Payment can be made in four ways:

1. By cash in manual lanes to a toll collector (change given).
   
   
2. Some lanes are equipped with automatic coin machines (not suitable for motor cycles):



• The main toll plaza near Coonagh is equipped with single-height coin machines which are suitable for cars only. Exact change will be needed there.
• At Clonamacken Toll Plaza you will find double-height automatic coin machines suitable for both cars and trucks. These machines will give change.


3. Trip Cards: please be aware that they are only usable on the Limerick Tunnel Toll Road. For more information on Trip Cards & how to purchase them, please see here
    
4. The easiest and fastest way to pay tolls is by electronic payment – Limerick Tunnel Tag. You can open your account online and pay by Credit Card. You can also open your Limerick Tunnel Tag Account by sending an application form by post to:
