Toll Plaza Locations

There are two toll plazas along the bypass:

Layout of the toll facilities
  1. The Mainline toll plaza in Coonagh in Coonagh at the northern end of the bypass. This has 5 lanes in each direction, one being an express lane solely reserved for use with electronic tags (Limerick Tunnel Tag). 4 lanes in each direction allow for manual payment with two lanes additionally equipped with automatic coin machines (only for use by cars). All lanes are capable of accepting electronic payment- Limerick Tunnel Tag. The Mainline toll plaza in Coonagh is equipped with single-height coin machines which are suitable for cars only. Exact change will be needed there.

  2. The Clonmacken Toll Plaza on the Clonmacken Link Road. This has 3 lanes in each direction, one being an express lane solely reserved for use with electronic tags (Limerick Tunnel). 2 lanes in each direction allow for manual payment and additionally equipped with automatic coin machines (for use by cars and trucks). All lanes are capable of accepting electronic payment- Limerick Tunnel Tag. At Clonmacken Toll Plaza you will find double-height coin machines which are suitable for cars and trucks. These machines will give change.
