The Limerick Tunnel is an immersed Tube Tunnel comprised of 5 elements each
100m in length.


The construction the Tunnel is carried out in the following phases

The Tube Tunnel elements are constructed in a linear casting basin. |
| Phase 2 : Dredge, Float and Immerse | |

The river channel is dredged and the casting basin is flooded. |
